I am in the market for a DVD recorder but would I would first like to know if they are able to record a channel while watching a totally different channel on the television. Note: I get my cable digitally through a cable box. Do only specific DVD recorders have this feature or for the most part is it universal? I would appreciate any help I can get, as I am very new to this technology.
