mpeg to dvd ohhh my ohh my

Hello as a total novice at putting things on to dvd, could anyone PLEASE HELP.How do i put mpeg onto a dvd.
if you put it easy steps as you may have guessed a total retard.All help would be gratefully accepted.
what free software is available for me to use.cheers

 

Search the forums first it should be there.

 

hi pyro

your mpeg video files must be converted to dvd format, if they are not already. most people will send u to tmpgenc. if u have ulead (pinnacle may also work)

drag & drop mpeg file into ulead and click "save trimmed movie"

click share
output disk format "dvd"
add video
create disc image file
open dvdshrink (free download)
open file "burn tmp"
after analysing click "reauthor button"
either double click or dgrag title 1 to your left side on dvdshrink (compilation side)
click "backup"
will burn to your dvd

software i'm using
-winfast pvr (record vhs to hdd)
ulead videostudio 7 (to make convert mpeg video to dvd format)
-dvdshrink (to compress file to fit on dvd)

this worked for me....if u don not have the same software..maybe something similiar.

for some reason when ever i try to make the TMPGEnc work with a file it comes up with a message saying "Can't load "P3Package.dll" does anyone know how i could make that go away
