I have a DMR-E85H which is very similiar. I hope whoever did the programming on it did a better job then they did on mine. My 85 adds 1 minutes to whatever I record....and Panasonic Reps say that since it does this on their units also there must not be anything wrong with the unit!!! Well the code just wasn't written correctly and they let the unit out the door w/o catching this error. If I select a recording time of 60 minutes....my DMR 85 records for 61 minutes! Since when does 60=61 or 1=2??? I guess they just don't want to admit that their engineers made a mistake. Maybe they will wake up and issue a fix to the firmware? Michael
