Help with firmware

    Aaaaaargh!!!! I'm having major problems with my new Sony DVDRW DW-U18A - it'll burn CDR's no problem, but I haven't yet completed a DVD without getting the 'Burn error' message!

    I've updted Nero but can't find firmware upgrades for the writer - can anyone help please? Cheers

    Thanks for the info..I downloaded the firmware updater but when I ran it, it told me that there was nothing TO update!!

    Also, Sony don't even list a DVDRW DW-U18A, so I'm thinking I have been sold a lemon!
