How to resize VOB files from Divx Conversion?

Hi.. I use TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 to convet my Divx file to an audio and video source. Then, i use IFOEdit to author... the problem is when i burn the DVD, everything is fine (video and sound and synchronization of both) but the image is ALWAYS displays full screen and the image looks too stretched! How can i modify the VOB file to more of a widescreen look?? All the DivX files I download are widescreen rips anyways, but after convertion they look like full screen, stretched movies on DVD. How can I resize these VOB files and what tool do I use? Is this the best method for resizing?? Thanks for reading...
