theres a few things you can do, but the cheapest is go on ebay and get another dvd drive Ive bought brand new thompson drives for as low as $25 there are a certain pc dvd drives that can be adapted, but it means a firmware upgrade. and theres also an option of 3 standard brands of xbox dvd drive, but youll find the thompson is the cheapest, and probably most common. You could buy a laser, but for the price of a drive, its probably just as well you get the whole thing. word of warning though, check the feedback if you buy on ebay, the "dodgy" people are floating around all over. If youre unsure of what to look for, just type "xbox dvd drive" and tons will popup I wouldnt bother getting a used one, not when new ones are so cheap now (if you look around) _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Ignorance isn't bliss.....It's just costly![/small]
