hoy can i put a 730 mb .exe file in a 700 mb cdr disk

    hello i have a 730 mb .exe file and i whant to satore it in a 700 mb cd, i am using nero 5.5.9 and is really need to store this file

    You cannot store files bigger than 700 MB in a single CD, unless they are ISO RAW images (extracted from a CD in RAW format, that is 2352 bytes/sector instead of 2048 bytes/sector).
    Those images can be easily detected, because if you divide their size (in bytes) by 2352, you obtain an integer number as result.
    Those fles can be burned with 'Burn Image' nero command and fit in a 74 min CD.

    In any other case I think you need to:
    1) compress the file; or
    2) split the file.
    I think you already know the applications that do that. The best available is WinRAR. The most popular is WinZIP.

    Thanks a lot for your help, i am going to store rthe file using backup Now in 2 cds, but thanks alot fot your advice
