    Hi,
I don't always get the chance to watch dvds that i'v borrowed off friends so i thought i'd copy them onto my hard drive and watch them later, but the trouble is i don't know which file to click on(from the many in the folder),to get it to playback.
    Can anybody help...........thanks......Dave.

The files should be in either VOB or ISO format. If you are using a playback program such as Power DVD just click on the appropriate extension.

    Hi colw,
I spoke to a mate of mine tonight, before i read your message and he said to click on the largest VOB file that there is,but all i got was a green screen and the same with all the files so maybe something else is going on.
So i'v just downloaded dvd shrink and will try to backup the films onto a dvd using that approach, probably not the easiest way but hopefully it will work(Having never used the program i can't say for sure),but thanks alot for your help,i appreciate it.....Dave.
