Divx5 Playback problem with Windows Media Player 7

I copy my DVD into DivX5 format following the guide but when I playback the film with Windows Media Player the sound is ahead of the video about 2 sec at the begining to 2 min at the end of the film.When I playback the film with Divx Player 2.0 Alpha everything is allwright but with this player I can't have subtitles (ripped with Subrip) please may I have some help Thanks.
