Problem creating backup from the original game CD

I am using CloneCD in combination with ClonyXXL. I was able to create a copy I can install the game from the copy but I cannot play it from the copied CD. What am I doing wrong?

 

do you get any error messages?
what is the game?
what is the protection clony found?

have you tried playing it from the burner you made it with???

 

The original disk is Combat flight sim 3 and Clony sees SafeDisk ab v2.51 Bad Sectors
After installation from the backup - no errors during installation but when I try to run the game with the backup CD in the drive I get the message to insert the right CD.

what settings did you use when reading and burning?

 

Settings set for reading:
Regenerate Data Sectors
Auto for Fast Error Skip
4X Read speed for Data

For write:
Max Write Speed
Amplify weak sectors
Always close last session

Have you tried Alcohol? http://www.cd-rw.org/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/alcohol120.cfm
Besides copying, Alcohol can use emulation to bypass the protection.
