I'm trying my first movie with multiple pgc's for the movie (Insomnia 16 pgc's).
I don't want to 'buy' scenarist. Can somebody offer any info on how to author this movie and others like it with the apps\threads on this website?
Thanks
m

You really need scenarist or maestro or ulead. Authoring software is a must. With this movie, I can't recall what the additional PGC's contain, but my guess would be extras and stuff. Use VOBrator to figure out what all the VOB ID's use and strip out the ones you don't need. Main movie is probably in a single pgc.

Thanks Insite,
I guess I'll have to get my hands on an authoring program.

That depends. You really need authoring software. Once you obtain whichever you're going to use, there are lots of guide on how to put this stuff together. Really depends on the software you use.

I use scenarist, but a lot of people have good luck with maestro or ulead.
