It will change from 00 to 01 if you > press arrow key in Key Number field 2nd one - and if I am understanding you correct then yes the codes will change in Key Data field when you press > on 00 and change to 01.

Check in System information to see if the box has firmware installed, you will not get into Cas System if it is blank - the boxes are supplied FTA from a lot of suppliers - that seems to be the problem, when at system information you should see for example - THE BOX API ver:4.51e_E Boot ver: 7.00 9. Jul. 2007 (that quoted is best for the UK) - If firmware is loaded then try Menu - Parental Control press OK - and key in 2004, Cas System will then appear.

I've put them codes in but nothings happening[/quote]

Haven't seen reports of any changes from yesterday - those links will be updated as asap. what version of firmware are you running on, and why don't you update and save yourself a lot of hassle.

I've tried to download the files from Eamo's libary but my laptop doesn't recognise the binary files I think, maybe I wasn't downloading the right file. Do you know which one I should be using for a cloned starview

Yes it is CryptStar-v1.4-Core257.bin you will find it in Eamo's Library at the bottom of my post, it is in Starview Folder 7th down then Firmware Folder and it is 2nd file down.

    Gents,

Hope someone can help, I've updated a genuine The Box with version 4.00e_E in Dublin. All channels etc are there but the display isnt smooth, as if its on a fast play pause . Its watchable but not ideal. Sound is fine Any ideas???

Thanks in advance for any help
