x-b.i.t mod chip problems

    i have installed my xbit mod chip and downloaded the software to flash the chip with a bios. i dont have a clue what to do and it keeps coming up with "error reading_CMD_GET_STATUS reply" please help, i just want my backups to work

    I've never seen that error message but I do know that you must flash with the Win98se operating system. Any other will crash on you.

    Did you ever fix that problem? I'm having the same issue and no one on the net seems to have come across it.

    I had the same problem trying to flash mine. If anyone finds out anything please post.

    yeah it depends on what version of xbit mod chip you have, if you have the v1.0 u need the same version software for it, naturally if u have v1.5 mod chip u need 1.5 software. mite b able to get it at xboxstation
