JUST INSTALLED ON DELL DIMENSION 2350 A NEW ARTEC 12X DVD+/-RW BURNER ALSO DOWNLOADED DVD X COPY EXPRESS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS IS THAT WHEN I COPY A MOVIE IT COPIES OK BUT WHEN I PLAY IT ON MY AKAI DVD PLAYER IT FREEZES MOMENTARILY ON AND OFF UNTIL I STOP IT. I ALSO HAVE NERO AND IT DOES THE SAME THING. WHATS THE PROBLEM ????????????????
First off...please don't write in caps...no shouting! Take a minute also to read some of the other threads...most problems come from using low quality media...what type of media are you using? http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm You also have to check the compatibility of your DVD player. Some may be more compatible with certain formats, eg, DVD-R/DVD+R. http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers Hope that's a start! All it takes is a little reading if you're stuck.

I have the same sort of problem when trying to play back of dvd backups, they tend to freeze some more than others. I have tryed to find the media type and the compatability for my Lg GSA-4120B in the sites that where shown but they didnt seem to have my burner in them. Has anyone got any ideas.
What kind of player? What kind of media? I have literally burned THOUSANDS of dvds, and by far the most compatible and best quality are RITEK disks.
How are these disks, just purchased them so I can print on them with the epson r200 that I am picking up tomorrow.
