Hi,I`m a complete novice regarding this subject, does anyone know any software apps that will enhance pixelised video. The files in question were taken from a Sony P900 mobile phone and transferred to pc in MPEG-4 and are played via the quicktime player,i converted them to AVI format so they could be viewed via WMP,but the quality is still pixelised.Does anyone know any Programs that clean video up please it would be a great help to me for now and in the future.

Old adage - GIGO - Garbage In Garbage Out.

Second Adage - TASBEM (There's a sucker born every minute).

Still do not believe that you can effectively enhance poor quality copies - maybe able to reprocess originals using different methododogy but thats about it.

Have you tried your plugins and if so what were the results and costs?

Well colw,I like ur adages and its is true about suckers, being born every minute, but try this link to the deblocker plugin and tell me what you think:
http://www.compression.ru/video/deblocking/index_en.html BTW the plugins are free and most of the plugins on the page worked except for the deblocker you got me on this one, anyway I`m sure theres a way of enhancing poor quality video as a friend of a friend mentioned this to me only he couldn`t remember the name of the program.
    Peace out.

    Hi wutanggg

Third adage - 'you can't make a silk purse of a sow's ear'.

Had a look at the site but not convinced that the plugin will do what you want - essentially you are trying to convert a low resolution image to a higher quality.

Do not think it can be done without use of high tech hardware/software that costs heaps.

I am prepared to stand corrected if someone can show how it can be done.

    (p.s. - I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken).

NASA and the FBI created VISAR. It works very well and sounds like what you need.
