xvid encoding

    I am trying to encode with xvid. When I try to use the xvid bitrate calc. it tells me that I need to down load visual basic 6 runtime module, but I don't think that my operating system suports it. I am using Windows XP. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

    you need to install a codec pack which you can find from doom9.org. They have several you can try, but most will work just fine.
