I'm having this problem since last week, a really weird one, i have a crappy that comes with my hp laptop, that was working fine for a year now, but since last week, every time i tried burn a data/music cd it give the following error T0100: I/O error (03/0C/00) - Write error T0100: I/O error (06/C5/00) - Write error - buffer underrun occurred T7127: TrackWriter error - Flush failed T7118: TrackWriter error - Command retry failed D0100: I/O error (05/24/00) - Command error - invalid field in CDB I uninstall the Easy Creator and install again, it still give me the same error, so i format my computer with the recovery cd given by hp, restored back into original condition, then i was able to burn the first cd, then when i tried to burn the second cd it give the same error again. So i reformat the computer, and it still give me error when tried to burn the second cd. Anyone got a clue why this is happening? The service people for hp won't repair the burner saying it's software, any expert knows this is hardware related so i can make them take it in for repair, thanks.
try going to roxio and download their platium. ensure you have roxio easy cd creator 5. this works great. i had your error when i had cd creator 4.
Sometimes Nero gives similar errors when you have an Anti-Virus program running. Do you think this might be your problem?
The "buffer underrun" is caused by the computer not giving the data to the burner fast enough. It is software related. If your burner has a kind of buffer underrun protection (Burn-proof, or something like this), turn it on in the burning options. Don't use other prtograms when burning CDs. If you burner is recent and fast, don't burn at max speed (try 8x to see if the problem comes from the speed). What burner and hard drive do you have?
i have roxio platinum 5.02, i have no program installed after format besides roxio, and i burn at the lowest speed my burner allowed 1x. But it still gives the same error, i don't what brand my burner or hard drive has, but my laptop is hp n5470. I m totally baffled, can anyone help with this problem?
