Hey all My original xbox broke down so I scrapped it, but I kept the hard drive because all my saved games and stuff was on it. The hard drive is still in good condition. It was a v1.0. So I had to get a new xbox and ended up getting a v1.3. Is it possible for me to install my old hdd from the 1.0 into this new 1.3 xbox? Shit...Ninja Gaiden was hard enough to beat the first time around...I don't want to have to do it again!!! Anyone know how to help me out?
You will need to unlock this old hard drive before you can put it in your new system. If you just take it out of one factory xbox and drop it in another without unlocking and locking the hard drive WILL NOT work
ok that answers my first question...but the next question is how do i unlock my original hard drive so that i can put it back in my xbox?
