region protection

    Hi all. Just wondering if anyone knew of a program that I can use to get the region protection off of my burnt DVD's so that I can play them in my stand-alone DVD player. By the way, I'm burning from avi files and playing them in a new sony player. I've tried anyDVD, DVD43, and DVDshrink to no avail. Any ideas?

    By processing your file through DVD Shrink and having the region set for region free, you'll wind up with a region-free DVD -
