does this disc work? i have the same error when analyzing the disc on shrink. i tried decyeptor and it didnt work either. does disney do something to thier discs. i know this is out of print so if i broke it i would be out of luck. it stops at 58 percent usually on shrink the error says "failed to read "e:\" "data error (cyclic redundancy error)"

I think thats the same problem I had. What I did is play the DVD on your PC and then pause it and then try to open it in Shrink.

I have only come across a few disk's that I have to do this with.

Not sure if this is true or not but someone told me that there is a file on some disk's that make the DVD drive think it's a locked drive and is only allowed to be played not scanned. And once it starts playing it is no longer locked.

Like I said I have no idea if this is true or not.

Heh, heh, Somebody is snowing on your pancake -

    Not true not close -

A CRC usually is a dirty or scratched disc OR as is most often the case, just down-right cheap media - time for a move on up in quality -

    Cheers,

    Pete

When XCopy users got a css error, users could do that to solve that error. Play the dvd with PowerDVD or WinDVD for a minute, lauch your backup software, then close the player and it would copy.

I backed up this movie with no problem. It has been awhile, but I think I used decrypter.
