Unusable drives

    It seems I'm another victim of WinXP SP2. Since installing the update I can't access my DVD or CD drives. The unhelpful folks at MS say maybe I need new drivers but I can't find any. Anyone have a link that might help? I don't want to reformat since I'm unable to backup my data to disk.

    Can you see the drives under 'My Computer'
    If you can see them then try uninstalling them and re-booting windows to let it reinstall them.

    Thanks Nick,
    I've already tried that, I've also downloaded and installed the latest firmware from Sony. I also tried uninstalling SP2 again no help.
