Hey I have got a CD bruner which is called Sony CD-RW CRX175A1 and I was wondering if I could some how get this to play DVD's because when i click on advanced in the control panel for the player it comes up with Device type: DVD/CD ROM drives. When I insert a blank DVD+R disk in or a DVD-RW disk it just makes a funny noise and ejects. Is there anyway I can keep the Disk in there without it ejecting or is there any way i can burn those disks to DVD with my bruner?
you have a cd burner not a cdburner/dvdrom combo, as you only have cd burner you cannot read or burn dvds. if you want to burn dvds than get a dvd burner that also burns cds
