I can't advance through all menus on svcd

I'm using the latest nero.

I'm having a problem with menus on my DVD player. I can advance through the second or third menu, then I can't advance any further. I'm only copying .jpg pics and a few short avi video captures of home movies. Everything seems to work fine if I leave the menus off, but I have to view all 125 pics in order with the next button. navigation is a pain if I want to view the pics on the last menus first! any help? thanks in advance...
