best software for mini dv to dvd

    can anyone recommend the best software for transfareing video and audio from my sony DCR HC18E direct to dvd , something simple and easy if there is such a piece of software available

    Hi mate,

    I have the Sony 109e and have bought a card and connect it with a w-fire (think thats right) instead of the USB. I got Roxio VideoWave in the card box and its great, it makes mini dvd files but they are the same as dvd, I just save them in a folder and use something like shrink or TMPGEnc authorising software to burn to a full size disc.
