When I rip CDs the copy has many small "clicks," which sound very much like LP surface noise. Is there a way to reduce the ripping speed, and will this solve the problem?

Thanks for the link. I've downloaded EAC, and plan to give it a try as soon as I have time. In the mean time, is it possible to adjust my computer's ripping speed, or is it just preset? I've been using Roxio to rip. Thanks for the help.

Most programs let you specify the read speed - even Roxio.
