On the back of your xbox, you will see an RJ-45 jack. It looks like a big phone jack. If you are connecting directly to your PC, you will need a crossover cable and the other end will need to be plugged into the RJ-45 jack on the back of your computer. If you are using a router or hub, then you will need a straight through cable.

Just know that a crossover cable is red and not grey or blue. If you go to any store and ask for a crossover cable, they will give it to you. Also, if you have not modded your xbox with a mod chip, you will not be able to make your xbox and pc talk. A mod chip is what allows your to configure your xbox to talk with your pc.

    Hope this helps.

I am unfamiliar with Xecuter chips but all mod chips have a menu where you can configure your network settings. I am assuming that you are attempting to make back up copies of your games. If this is the case, you will need an FTP program as well and a program to extract the files from your Xbox DVD. For this, I recommend a program called DVD2Xbox. I also suggest that you read the tutorials on xbox scene. They will tell you everything you need to know.

I believe it is against the forum rules to name the website. Just go to xbox scene and do a search for "xbins". Read the xbins to tutorial and that should set you in the right direction.

    @ aoe_do

Is not a relevant thread title. If I have to change another one of you stupid meaningless thread titles or warn you again for anything else you're gone. Are we clear?
