or you can customise the bios if its not already partitioned, with xbtools (xecuter) or evtools (m7-m8) Also, you can do it the real easy way, using an auto installer disc, basically sets it all up for you. attach your drive, reboot with the auto installer disc in, format the drive, and install the dashes and apps etc. You can also use an evox boot disc to connect to your pc while you have your original drive attached, if you want your game saves etc. Dont forget too, to unlock the original drive if you want to use it for stuff other than your xbox.
