   What is the cheapest way for me to edit digital video?
   Currently I have a good computer with lots of hd space and I have a good digital camera. Now wat is my next step in the editing video the cheapest way possible?

   use windows movie maker as its free
   
   transfer the video via firewire using movie maker
   chop and cut till your hearts content
