HELP! I want to record movies from my DVD collection and....

    I also want to record movies from HBO. My DVD REcorder keeps giving me an error message, that I cannoy record copyright material. I just bought this -DVR made by Emerson. What kind of DVR do I need to purchase, so I can record copyright material??

     ... Are you trying to record from HBO or from your DVD collection ... I'm sorry, but the question isn't very clear to me ...
