howdy, ive been having trouble putting music on my psp, its not transferring it thats the problem. the problem is, certain songs will come up as "corrupted data", or when i play certain songs, it just plays clips from OTHER random songs that ive previously put on my psp. i dont know if im making any sense here, its tricky to explain. basically some songs are just not working. so then ill go online, download another version of the song, and they dont work either! its like my psp just doesnt like particular songs.
i have no idea what the hell is wrong with it! has anyone else experienced similar problems to this? if so, please help!
I had this trouble myself with some mp3,s from the net.
To correct the problem i reencoded them at a slighty lower CBRbitrate than the original encode (you cant add data that aint there) and it done the trick.
Am not sure if the PSP accepts ABR, but i do know it will play VBR and CBR.
I was having trouble putting music on my psp because of windows media player updates. but all you have to do is go to my computer open up our music file on your psp. go into windows media player right click and choose find file location another window will pop up and u drag and drop into your psp music folder. i hope this helps some ppl.
