First thing I do when I come here, is click on "My Account", at top of page. Then scroll down some and click on "See list of your forum posts". Every thread I've ever posted in, is listed there, starting with the last one. That's as good as subscribing, without my inbox filling up. :o) I like it much better than subscribing. When something is posted in one of those threads, that thread jumps to the top of the list.

It's good for finding old posts too, if something comes up, and you remember something was said about it, awhile back. Very easy to keep up with........ Try it out.

Yeah I use that option too JVC but I must not recieve as much mail as you do. No work stuff and unknown emails all are screened by aol and what little does gets thru goes to spam folder. I access my aol mail thru IE and haven't paid them a nickel since the day they gave everyone free email accounts. I just loathe Outlook Express. Viri seldom get thru aol filters and Norton hasn't warned me in years that something is trying to get thru.

"Filling up" may have been a bit of an exaggeration.
I just like this way better than emails. :o)

Today, there were eight posts, to threads that I had posted in here. So that would have been eight emails. Now, if I had subscribed to threads, in all the forums I go to, today would have been a day that the inbox would have filled up. I go to twelve different forums everyday. I don't post in some of them everyday though. I post regularly in about seven of them. :o)

MY $.02 Well gang ! I have used & use ! dvd-decrtpter, dvd Fab Decrypter, DVD Shrink! AnyDVD ,Ripit4Me, Nero & RoxiO - Depending on which computer I'm using and up until fairly recently I've only had a Occasional disc That was difficult to copy with those programs ~ But thank you Sony !!! It seems that almost every new release I get on the sony label is a bear to back up ! And yes I'm aware that Sony 's been The 800Lb. Gorilla on the Block with their Various CopyPro Proggies ! Some movies Well arleast one for sure (Zoom ) I was only able to do as a DVD+R DL Burn! I enjoyed the movie but did'nt think it was worth the expensive media ! My latest Sony Back Up - Stranger Than Fiction! Looked like it was going to be a Bad Boy Too! So I tried something different ? I used Roxio 's Disc copier Program with AnyDVD and Burned it On the fly / Or Disc to disc? it seems to have worked like A charm !- I understand That most afterdawn members are Nero users ! & I even use it myself on the notebook! So I won't go into anything about one versus the other ! I'm just saying in my instance this is what worked for me ! Most everyone Though seems to be pointing me in the Direction of Clone Dvd ! For lets say Those Problem- Sony Releases ) and I have much respect for AnyDVD /Slysoft's programs so I suppose I will get it eventually ! To round out My dvd Burning Arsenal! and I understand I can try & then buy Like I did with AnyDVD ! so I suppose I'll get to it & just do It Like they say in the Shoe comercial ! like I said earlier This is My .02 cents worth for what it's worth ? and again Guys and Gals here at afterdawn Thanks for listening & all the help when I need it later friends!!!

@bigtoxy69

Yes I too have Roxio installed along with Nero. I have used the copy DVD function with Roxio just not on DLs. AnyDVD will even work with DVD XCopyXpress which I still have hanging around. Glad to know Roxio will do DLs without issues. I use ImgBurn for those tho.

Finally back after almost 3 weeks, hard drive went and just got a new one installed, lost all my stuff, I know should have backed up, anyway, slysoft sent me my key numbers for clone and AnyDVD, the instructions were a little vague, they want me to make a backup with a cd, I dont know what they mean, just make a copy of the e-mail they sent or a copy of the download, and if its the ladder than I'm stumped.

yeah fred backup the keycode file its self on a cd

also you can take that email from slysoft and send it to yourself from your default email service to a hot mail like MSN Massenger Yahoo etc. or even PM yourself here at aD and if you have to reformat you will still have the info.

or do a slave Hard Drive liked we talked about and put your info on that too, but still backup the important stuff to cd etc
