Are there any settings when using Friidump for dump speed or anything like that? I've been dumping SSBB now for 10 hours and it is only at 67%. At this rate, it will take almost a full day to dump.

hi i have a backup copy of my ssb. I use to be able to play it now i always get the Disc Error and to refer to my wii manual message. I put the game in it says loading and the screen turns white and the message pops up in green letters. I tried pressing every button to see if it skips and nothing. I tried shutting down and doing it again, taking out the game and putting it back in when it shows that message and nothin.

This game use to work and now its crap. Its not my wii because i can play everything else (back and original). I have a wiikey 1.9s and wii 3.2u.

Please help because the instruction that the guy posted in the beginning of this thread does not help me becuase atleast he got to see the movie and create a save which i cant.

15 hours later, SSBB is dumped! Burned at 2.4X using ImgBurn on Memorex DVD+R DL. 40 minutes later and I'm playing!

Managed to backup my copy of SSBB at last.
I dumped the image fine but could not get it to work in wii, tried using ridisc dvd+r dl first no good then tried verbs would occasionaly start to load then could not read disc.Tried with and without layer break got through a few disc's!!!!
Found cheap Aone works fine no probs.
Anyone struggling to do a successful backup try Aones only £5 for 10 so not a great loss if they don't work.

I used Memorex DVD+R DL. Seems to work for the most part. Occasionally it stops and I have to take the disk out and put it back in a bunch of times before it will read again. I don't think we have Aone in the US.

I alwasy backup and burn my Wii games using IMGBurn at 4x speed, using VERBATIM DVD-R Discs, they are the best in my opinion.
I play all my backups using WiiGator's Wii Backup Loader 0.3 Gamma. SSBB and all other games always work perfectly with no slowdowns. Even the FMVs/Cutscenes work fine. The best part is that it works ONLINE \^^/.
