Standalone DivX player - DVD or DivX

    Hi there !
    I have a standalone DVD player that can play DivX files.

    I also want to backup my DVD collection & so far have been using DVD shrink to do this. I'm just wondering wether the quality would be better if I backed them up to DivX, as I can play them in the stand alone player (Pioneer).

    It's a Pioneer DV-676A if anyone is interested. It's DivX certified apparently :)
