Well I took the leap. After following you guys for the last 8 months or so and taking advantage of all the great advise, this newbie finally registered and have a question! Woo Hoo!.. I picked up an NEC 3500A and Ritek 8x+ (G03) and have made 7-8 flawless discs/burns using Decrypter, Shrink & Nero. They have all worked on my set to player! Thanks guys. My question: I would like to take my copies of LOTR trilogy and burn each movie to 2 DVD-5 so I don't have to compress the HUGE main movie in half. Any suggestions? I haven't been able to find anything doing searches. Thanks, Smokeatr5
Ok, this is my 2nd post now. Can anyone help me split a 5+ gig movie without compressing, and fitting the parts on 2 DVD-5s'??? Looking forward to the simple answer which has eluded me thusfar. Thanks, Smokeatr5
Give DVD Shrink or DVD Fab a try. To do it in Shrink try this....... http://www.dvdshrink.info/splitting-v2-3.php DVDFAB has changed a bit and is now pay for me software, but the old freeware version of DVD Fab can be found here..... with a guide http://www.mrbass.org/dvdfab/
