Hello. Hope someone can help me out. When I play NTSC movies on my TV, the picture is about half an inch too far to the left, making me miss the beginning of certain subtitles and such. Highly annoying. My TV doesn't allow me to move the picture in any way, so my question is this:

Is there any program that will allow me to reposition vob or avi files a few centimeters to the right so that I can (re)burn them to DVD and see the whole picture? I have searched high and low to no avail.

No good. I need something that allows me to reposition prior to burning.

Strongly doubt that what you want is possible.

Would be interesting to know what software you are using.

Would suggest try playing on some different TV's - most have tracking adjusting features.
