If you have a dvd burner then you can capture an image of the disk and burn it like a regular disk. Use whatever software you wish (Nero Burning Rom is good). If you have a modchip in your ps2 then normal copys should bootup no problem!

I have myself a DVD reader and burner but do not know how to rip DVD games. I've tried a straight burn using Nero having original in reader and blank DVD-r in writter but with no luck. I want to do striaght copies to DVD-r. Plz reply with step by step instruction and what software is the best to use. Im ripping CD-ROM's no probs with CDR-WIN.

The way you make your copies is fine !
I do it all the time like you describe with Nero.
My question for you is: What mod-chip do you have in your PS2 ??

Not sure man as I took round to some dudes house i got out of an add. I didn't ask any questions. I've heard PRASSI PRIMO DVD 2.0 is another way to go and this site has the instructions. Going to give both Nero and Primo another bash.

Man, that must take a lot of time burning a DVD with Primo !!!??
With nero you just have to click twice at the most and within 10-15 minutes you have a nice copy of your PS2 DVD game.
No image burning ... NOTHING !
