locked or unlock HD

    i would like to know if your hard drive will stop working if it becomes unlocked/locked and i it would be very helpfull if someone could tell me how to lock/unlock the HD. PLEASE HELP

    no your hdd will not stop working if it is unlocked but you cannot use the original ms dashboard or play real games with it unlocked you have to have modhcip bios that support unlocked hdd
