Hi,
I am thinking of buying the above digital SLR. Anybody have any thoughts on it? It seems a very good camera for a bottom of the range digital SLR. Because the new Canon 20 D has just recently come on the market, is there a chance that it will be cheaper next year or perhaps even go out of production in the near future?
I can't afford the 20D!

It is a decent entry level Digital SLR. I played around with one and found it pretty neat. However, i choose to go for a Canon Powershot Pro1 semi-pro instead. The build quality i felt was better with it. I had intended getting a 20D, but the price versus the amount of usage i would get for it determined it was unrealistic.
The 300D is a completely different target market to the 20D, so my guess is that it wont be affected by any introduction.
