NEC DVD Burner

Hello EVeryone:

NEC is supposed to market their new universal format DVD burner that supports -R/-RW and +R/+RW. Does anyone know the model number and when it will be on the shelf for purchasing?

 

Hey, Dorko, there is no Universal Format. The closest you can come is Sony DRU-500A. It Rocks.

Thanks for your political reply. If you read my message carefully, I want to know when NEC is supposed to come out a drive that supports -R/-RW and +R/+RW. That is what I meant universal.

If you can't be nice in your reply, please do not attempt the next time.
Besides I already own a Sony DRU500A drive; yes you are right. It is a solid drive.
