How much, if any, do you sacrifice by getting a wireless Home Theater System? I just can't have wires snaking across the room and going thru the wood floor or in the walls seems like an expensive proposition>

    terkar,
thats a good question, I'm sure you are going to loose some of the resolution and dynamics but I don't know how much.

If you can, just make the surrounds wireless. That is usually where all the anoying cable comes from anyways. If you can, keep your fronts, center, and sub wired with your equipment this would make a big difference.

The surrounds are mainly just ambient noise. And if you loose a little resolution there it shouldn't make that much of a difference. They are the least important speakers in your home theater.

Thanks RAZZ 1234 - Most of the units I am looking at do have wireless for the surround satellites only. Guess I will give it a try.
