ADVDInfo question

I am trying to use ADVDINfo to get informations about the Manufacturer of my DVD-Rs. I Have a Pioneer 104 burner connected to a firewire connection (I have an extra external box for this). Unfortunately, the Burner does not seem to be visible from ADVDInfo :(, any idea ?
