Your first copy already has the encryption removed. Any disc copy program (Nero, Recordnow Max, even Roxio) should beable to copy it.

The DVD X Copy software was designed so that you could NOT copy a copy if you tried to use the X copy software to do that. However any dvd backup copy already has the encryption removed. Therefore using say for instance Nero disc copy to do that job will usually work. Nero will see it as a plain dvd.(no encryption to worry about.)

Nero Ultra 6 is a complete burning software package that will burn cds and dvd blank discs. You can download a complete working trial package for 30 days. It is similar to the Roxio package but Nero is much better. Recordnow Max is another one in the same catagory. With any of them you can burn data cds/dvds, music, picture discs, and video discs. They also have the disc copy feature that allows you to make an exact copy of a cd/dvd if it has no encryption on it. This was the feature I was talking about.

I bought a couple of PBS DVD's. I want to use DVDXcopy to make backup copies. I have had not problem with using the "Advanced" on two of the DVD's, but DVDXcopy will not recognize two other DVD's. I don't get to the screen where one can click the various sections of the DVD. I have cleaned the DVD's, etc.. Any ideas why two of the same series are not recognized?
