I'm going to be buying a dvd burner. I'm just wondering some things. What format are dvd's in? How do I exactly burn a dvd to another dvd? I heard you can burn a dvd directly if it is certain size but if its not and you don't want to cut out anything from the original dvd, you want to make an exact copy how do you do it? How do you determine the size of a dvd? What programs are the best to use? What are the step that are involved?

If you can help me out with these question and please answer them in detail because I am very new to this. I really appreciate it, thanks.
