2X DVD-R media for Sony DRU-500A?

Hey all -

I'm searching desperately for some quality 2x media for my new sony. I had the old pioneer DVR-104, and I was using these Ritek's from meritline with great success (for .85 a piece!).

I really like the dense, dark purple backing and writeable surface.

Anyone found anything comparable that will burn a stable 2x speed on the Sony? i'm in the states.
