heyy , im a noobie ,i need sum help...im tryin to get on the internet wit my psp but i dont kno how, i try so much ways but it just dont work, i turn on wlan switch and scanin and all that, do i have to download sumthin or have sumthin to go on the interet? can any one give me sum baby steps or help me go through this plz help

You need a wireless router to get on the internet with your PSP...
Here is one that I use and love Wireless Router
Do you have High Speed Internet?

yes i have one..i have DSL...but isnt PSP wireless internet tho ?...so i have no ideas of knowing what to do now...

So you have a DSL box? That is a start. Dose that DSL box have an Intena(Spelling is wrong)

Can you connect anything else to that router?
Dose the DSL modem have an Intena
IS the DSL modem going to the router then to the computer via ethernet yet?

yes..everything is plug in to the computer..and the router does have intenas...

Ok good when you go to Network settings on your PSP and go to Infracture Mode and go throug the setup do you get and error? Dose the router have security on it? AND dose the DSL modem have an Intena...

ok this wat i did
- i turn on my wlan switch
- i went to settings and scroll down to network seeting
- i clicked on infrasture mode
- i made me a new connection it is called "Web"
- then i click right with using my right arrow key
- i scan and it found linsky (my router) and its 75%
- i clicked on it and click on my right arrow key
- then the WLAN secrity seeting i out none
- my adress setting is custom
- then the IP adress seeting i put it on automatic
- DNS setting is also on automatic
- PROXY server is on use
- i skiped proxy server
- my internet browser is on start
- then there is this thing you can look over then i press X
- and i saved
- i test conection
- it doesnt work and it says "a connection error
hasoccured the attempt to obtain the IP adress timed out"

- go settings and scroll down to network seeting
- click on infrasture mode
- make a new connection call it "Web"
- then click rightusing your right arrow key
- scan for your router
- click on it and click on your right arrow key
- Adress settings should be easy
- click right
- press x to save
- test connection
- press 0
- press 0 again
- move right to Network
- move down to Internet Browser
- then click on the adress bar type www.afterdawn.com (or watever)
- enter
- enter
Then post back if it worked or with cany errors you got.

i did all of that and it still says the same thing but you did not metion anything about the WLAN security settings do i need anything to make it work ? like do i have to download sumthing ?

Yes you are right... when you scan and it gives you your network SSID (Network Name what dose it say to the right of that? WPA? None? ECT...?
I need to know what the error is know what everything says when you Test your Network connection.

-SSID:
-Security:

i can only connect to internet services with no security but i have a Netgear wireless router and it is WEP security. but i dont no what the WEP key is and when i pick none for security settings it says Quote:

that happens because the router requires the wep key to access it wirelessly so you would need to input the wep key
For a While i have escaped time but to return when they need you most to come back on a vendetta like a have thats just simply MAGIC!

And if you don't know your WEP key then follow these steps to get into your router config and change it:
How to find your router config address
I am assuming that you are using Windows for this section
1.On your computer, go to Start-->Run.
2. Type in cmd and press enter.
3. The command line will appear. Type ipconfig /all and you should see a list of addresses. Look for the text “Default Gateway”, and note down the address next to it (4 numbers separated by dots). This is your router’s config address, typing this into your browser will take you to the router config page. Now go back to the section on setting up your router and then follow the further instructions below.
