STARVIEW UPDATING FIRMWARE - NO CODE BEGGING HERE

    lmao i does like a comedy like that lol tat box you describe sounds like a starview one does it say starview on the front panel where butons are

    yeah but wasn't really worried about that one cos i flashed it already...just dont want to mess up someone elses you know?so at least i know now starview 2 the box...he gave me a eurovox as well so fingers crossed its as easy as the good old sv!

    Yes that was an SV1 there where 2 versions, 1st generation and 2nd generation both referred to as SV1/s, what firmware are you putting on The Box, better for you to put 4.50 on with the GTRom 4.00, exactly same procedure as your previous flashing.

    what did you flash it with???? eurovox eh know nada about them only starview an replay lite's for me thats all the head aches i need lol

    i'll take your advice malci and put 4.5 on...getting to be a dab hand at this i am!!haven't broken one....yet!!lol

    ok vicatron your sorted so good luck with the euro vox remember each boxhas there own software to so same with the eurovox there is diff types of that to so get to that thread and somone there will look after you

    No need to appologise, 2 or 3 not so bad :) By the way I think that you will find the Eurovox is actually easier to flash now with the firmware being UFL (Unified Flash Loader) all you need to know is what box it is Red - Blue or Black.

    if you mean the actual colour of the box then its black and it says max v...is that ufl on eamo's library?

    Yes it's the UFL max V Kuro3 dated 18_04_08 2nd file from bottom in firmware.

    iv just read through the thread and it seems simple enough(famous last words!)...has to be easier than that dreambox!!that gave me nightmares!!lol

    yeah it did...just gave up when the codes went mad.has there ever been a comparison between all the boxes to say which is best i wonder?
