Halo 2 Help Please!!

    I am on Mission 6 and I am supposed to be cutting the 3 cables. I can't find them. I follow the Commander outside, but then he jumps in a ship and I don't know what to do after that. Please help me!!

    its been a while but i think i remember them being on the outside of that circular ledge thing. you have to get on the top of that outside ledge...i think. the cables are very large and hard to miss. somebody correct me if i'm wrong.
