I paid my dues but am still waiting for my Eagle Badge
I'm sure if its not in the mail, it will be soon. You, Breck, and Jerry all deserve on for all the help that all of you have provided.
Thanks Jerry has held down the fort the longest but we just back him up...lol
I was reading Jerry's posts, back in the day when this board was more about dvd's than just about anything else. that is when I first came here, then AD had to drop most of that discussion, and I was away from here for a long time, then found this discussion. Jerry has been here a long time and very knowledgeable.
Thanks for the above comment, but I learned off some of the old timers that no longer post here. When many of us joined back then we became addicts without the actual title under our names. I remember times we shot the bull almost all night without knowing how late it actually was. Its hard to believe its been about 5 years now and several thousand posts. I don't even check my post count very often, It was over 5000 but I don't worry about that anymore. I just try to help where I can. You guys in turn have all been a great help to the FTA community on here. The BIG problem when you become the main answer man is you start to attract the WRONG kind of attention from those other people. Then you have to slack off for a while if you know what I mean.

Very true, right now i am kind of hogging things up because i am on vacation but once i go back to work someone else can hog it up...lol As long as we help FTA'ers test, thats what makes me happy. The hardest part is not posting opinion and trying to stay as factual as possible. Alot of what i post i have either done myself or physically seen others do by trial and error. Either way, we are lucky to have such caring people that take personal time with no worries of compensation just to help one another out. The way it should be. This also becomes addictive to certain people (like it was for me) to actually go out, read different posts, try new things and learn on your own, then ultimately share so everyone can benefit and then choose to pass it on and help the community at any time.

Yes. Rip. Kaput.
Though maybe a dongle will come out some day and revive them. Otherwise, with this so called support, they are dead. This fta boxes are pretty cheap so why should we wait several days or weeks for a bin when we can have another brand up and running?

Just a little over 100 bucks should do it. See the info at xxx.bindepot.ca.

Every single time it takes more then 3-4 days for a bin, you people throw your hands up in the air and scream the sky is falling, the sky is falling and every single time the bin comes out, you guys disappear until the bin goes away again and rinse and repeat.
People start screaming about the support and how the thing is dead never to return and blah blah blah...
It's FREE TV and people whine about it. Either buy a new box and quit complaining or deal with the fact that you have an older box and a bin might take a bit longer.

Im sure it works for something but I havent had time to test it. I know only the basics so I am not sure if 97w requires readjusting your dish a different direction or a matter of just tuning 97w in and loading the bin. If I get a chance Ill look into it later
