Ok, heres the deal. I have made about 50 copies using dvd shrink 3.2. After using Shrink, I use Nero (latest version) to burn. No matter what I do, I cant get an 8x Burn. When I use 3.1 Shrink though, and then Nero, same media etc etc, I get an 8x burn everytime. ARGH! its driving me crazy,..any ideas? thanks a lot guys!
dukhnt, The burn control is in Nero - set it there - Here's hoping your luck holds, so many here are staying at 4X to insure decent burns, 8X aren't reliable - With luck like yours, consider heading for the casinos, make that luck pay $$$$ Happy New Year, Pete
Pete, thanks for the reply and the help, but I'm afraid that the same Nero opens with the same settings for the 3.2 and the 3.1, I cant figure out why it burns at 4 with one, and 8 with the other, but if people are having problems at 8x, maybe I dont want to even bother??
dukhnt, Your choice, My Pioneer could burn 4X at 8X all day long BUT after 2 coasters in the first dozen burns I didn't think that the few minutes saved was worth it SO both burners are set at 4X and no problems at all - many others here feel the same way after similar experiences - Happy New year - Pete
