Hi, I am using ritek tango g05 media. It is rated at 4x but I want to burn at 1x as player seems to have trouble with discs burned at a higher speed. In Nero before disc is inserted I have the option of 1x but after inserting disc it changes to only 4x,6x or 8x. How can I get it to burn at 1x? Maybe if I selected 1x before inserting disc and hit burn and then insert disc, that would work? Thanks in advance!
there is nothing wrong with burning at 4x. If your player is having problems it's most likely the process or the media. I guess if you had to slow things down you could put your drives in PIO mode ... but that is not recommended.
